M. Alberta Beck

M. Alberta Beck, 89, of Alliance, passed away on May 17, 2013 at Amherst Meadows in Massillon. Alberta was born on June 26, 1923 in Alliance, the daughter of the late Max and Mary (Matson) Riebe. Alberta was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary, enjoyed spending time with her friends while working at the VFW in Sebring for over 30 years, but especially enjoyed her time with her family. Survivors include her sons, Arnold (Kelly) Beck of Mesa, AZ., Don Beck of Alliance, a daughter Marilyn Hobbs of Canton; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph in 1987, a brother Eugene and a sister Helen Malin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday May 21, 2013 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may call on Monday May 20, 2013 from 6-8 PM and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park.
