Margaret "Marg" Jean (Marshall) Bloor, 81 of Sebring passed away on May 6, 2023. She was born om February 3, 1942 the daughter of the late Beatrice V. (Slusser) and Ralph A. Marshall. She was a 1960 graduate of Alliance High School and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Math and Education from Kent State University in 1965 and Masters Degree in Math from the University of Montana. She earned two National Science Scholarships and three scholarships to the National Science Program in Mathematics. Her interests include teaching Sunday School and singing in the church choir, crafting, cooking and spending time with her dogs Erin and Casey Jones as well as traveling with her husband, friends and relatives. Especially sailing with her husband aboard their sailboat The Impossible Dream.
Survivors include her husband Dr. David W. Bloor whom she married on August 20, 1977, two step-sons, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Carolyn A. (James) Blymiller and a brother Larry (Patricia) Marshall.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Salem First United Methodist Church, 244 South Broadway Ave., Salem, OH 44460. A gathering of family and friends will take place the hour prior to the service in the Church Parlor from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
