Margaret E. Hitchcock, age 95, passed away Saturday Feb. 24, 2007 at Canterbury Villa in Alliance. Born in Columbiana County June 8, 1911, the daughter of the late Herbert Sr. and Sarah Dunlap Tetlow, she was a resident of Beloit, Ohio for 24 years, and was married to Waldo B. Hitchcock and resided in Sebring for 71 years. Margaret was a member of the Sebring United Methodist Church, serving on several committees through the years. She was a life member of the International Brotherhood of Operative Potters, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary B.P.O. Elks #467. Margaret is survived by her son, Richard B. (Connie) Hitchcock of Hilliard, Ohio, daughter, Mary Margaret (Brooks) Weingart of Alliance, granddaughter, Sherri (Bob) Faber of Hilliard, Ohio and great grandchildren Ryan W. Faber and Crystal L. Faber of Hilliard, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, six sisters, two brothers and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 27, 2007, with Rev. Joy Blaney and Rev. Jeff Corbett officiating. Friends may call Monday Feb. 26th from 2 – 9 PM with the family present from 7 – 9 PM. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Sebring United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Friends may view the obituary and sign the guest register on line at www.grfuneralhome.com.
