Margaret Madsen

Margaret E. Madsen, age 92, of Sebring passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2007 at Crandall Medical Center. She was born Aug. 3, 1914 in Sioux City, Iowa, to the late Dr. James A and Cora (Jones) Coss. Margaret was a member of the Sebring Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Morningside College of Sioux City, Iowa; a member of the OES of Mission, Tx. and also the PEO. Margaret spent many years knitting caps for the newborn babies in area hospitals for which she received Honorable Recognition for her services; she was a great friend to many, and she cherished every friendship. She is survived by 2 daughters Karen (John) Sayre of Cleveland, Oh; De Anne (Lawrence) Coy of Holly Lake Ranch, Tx.;2 sons David (Nancy) Madsen of Pickerington, Oh; James (Linda) Madsen of Beavercreek, Oh; a sister Catherine Coss of Sebring, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband Robert V. Madsen on 8-28-1999, 2 brothers William and James and sister Florence Hamel. A Memorial Service will be held at Copeland Oaks with the Rev. Christine Ziem officiating. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Sebring, Ohio.
