Margaret R. Neubauer, 99, of Monaca passed to eternal life on Monday, December 14, 2009 at the Blossom Nursing Center in Salem , Ohio . Margaret, born April 8, 1910, was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Baker) Patton. She graduated from Monaca High School , class of 1928, and attended the University of Pittsburgh . Mrs. Neubauer was a life long member of the Monaca United Methodist Church and a twenty five year member of Eastern Star, Rochester Chapter. Besides her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by four sisters, three brothers and her husband Arthur E. Neubauer whom she married on October 19, 1936. Margaret is survived by a daughter Margaret âMargeâ (Vern) Lutz of Salem Ohio, a son Major Frank (Jennice) Neubauer USMC (ret.) of Holt, Missouri, a grandson David (Lora) Lutz, two granddaughters Debora Lutz (David) Campolito and Diana Lutz (Darrin) Ackerman, a step granddaughter Michelle Swierski and a step grandson Michael (Kelly) Pollard. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Joshua and Rachel Lutz, Eric and Cade Campolito, Dana, Brook and Chase Ackerman and five step great-grandchildren Heather, Hannah and Hayden Swierski and Ashley and Troy Pollard. Private family services celebrating Margaretâs long life were held on December 17 at the Brown Funeral Home in Salem , Ohio with Minister Jay Eastman conducting services. Burial was at the Union Cemetery near Monaca with the Rev. S. Bruce Mould of the Monaca United Methodist Church conducting graveside committal services.
