Margaret Ellen Savage, 81 of Beloit passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salem. Margaret was born in Paden City, West Virginia on February 24, 1932 the daughter of the late Orval James and Iva Elizabeth (Mikes) Martin. Mrs. Savage was a school bus driver and also worked at various local potteries. She and her husband had many friends across the country and beyond most of them they met while camping in their Motor Home especially to Florida. Survivors include her son Robert (Cindy) Savage of Sebring, two daughters Sandy (Ted) Jones, of Bluffton, IN and Michele (Roger) McGhee of Lisbon. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and two sisters; Leona VanCamp of TN and Myrtle Carroll of Martinsville, IN. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband in March of 2005 and 2 brothers; Virgil and James. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM at the funeral home on Friday, Aug. 30th with Pastor Randy Payne officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home the hour prior to the service.
