Marie Belle Bickle, age 69, of Beloit passed away Tuesday June 26, 2007 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born in Deerfield, Ohio on Feb. 10, 1938 to the late Joseph and Ruby Belle (John) Carver Marie was a member of the North Benton Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Sebring High School, class of ’56. She loved gardening, bowling and her grandchildren. She was a member of Smith Grange and a former member of 4-H. She was a member of the Alliance Women’s Bowling Association, serving as its secretary. She also served as secretary for many other bowling leagues in the area. Marie is survived by her husband Johnnie E. Bickle whom she married on Aug. 2, 1957; 4 daughters, Susan (Gerald) Santee of Winona; Kathy Mix of Deerfield; Joanie(Lynn) Wartluft of Alliance; Beth (Aaron) Risden of Salem; 1 son Mark Bickle of Beloit; 2 sisters Carol McClure of Lajunta, Co; Sherry Jo Gaul of N. Benton; Sister in Law Teddy Carver of Beloit; 2 brothers Jerry Carver of N. Benton; Daryl Carver of Ravenna; half brother Joseph Carver of Lake Milton ;14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Lynn Carver. Funeral Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday June30,2007 , with Pastor Alex Feldman officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00PM to9:00 PM with the family present from 7 to 9 PM. There will be a grange service on Friday at 9:00 PM.. . Burial will be in Deerfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
