Marjorie Adams

Marjorie M. Adams, age 84 , formerly of Hiram Ohio, passed away Friday May 11, 2007 at Crandall Medical Center II in Sebring, Ohio. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 15, 1922 to the late Curtis G. and Ida May (Painter) Shontz. She was a member of Hiram Christian Church. Marjorie was a Music Librarian at Hiram College retiring in 1989, a member of Mu Phi Society, a graduate of Hiram College with a Degree in Home Economics, She was a prolific Composer and an accomplished pianist; she was a member of the Church Choir and Chorus and Copeland Oaks Chorus. Marjorie is survived by her husband Charles L. Adams whom she married on Dec. 21, 1945; daughter Gail Adams of Long Beach Ca; son Richard (Jessie) Adams of Flower Mound, TX; brother Franklin Shontz of Lawrence, KS; grandson Jason Adams of Littleton, CO; and great granddaughters Lauren and Allison Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother William Shontz. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements include cremation. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
