Marjory Barnett Casey

Marjory J. Barnett Casey, 83 of Sebring, died Saturday, August 15th at 3:32 PM at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring. Marjory was born in Sebring on March 12, 1926 the daughter of the late Herbert J. Vogt and Avian E. (Pinkerton) Vogt Cole. Mrs. Casey retired from the Sleepy Hollow Country Club serving as the manager for 15 years in 1988; she was a member of the Sebring Church of Christ, the Sebring American Legion Auxiliary #76 and was the former manager of the VFW #6730 for 15 years. Marjory is survived by; three daughters; Carolyn (Larry) Green of Sebring, Marcia Stoffer of Beloit, Roberta (Ben) Johnson of Sebring and a son Michael (Jill) Barnett of Redondo Beach, CA, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Raymond Barnett in 1990 and her second husband Thomas Casey in 1997 her sister Ruth Lockwood also preceded her. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 19th at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with the family present from 6-8 PM. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
