Mark Davies

Mark F. Davies, 54 of Alliance passed away at his home on February 23, 2014. Mark was born in Alliance on March 6, 1959 the son of Larry J. and Darylene (Wyss) Davies; he was a 1977 graduate of West Branch High School and worked at Alliance Tube. Mr. Davies was a member of Damascus Friends Church, a volunteer at the Alliance Food Pantry and Alliance Community Hospital; he enjoyed golf, deer hunting and was a great supporter of his children and nieces and nephews and their activities. Mark also enjoyed watching West Branch Sports.
Survivors include his mother Darylene (Jerry) McLaughlin, a daughter Jennifer (Jerry) Parks of Rolesville, NC, a son Timothy (Amy) Davies of Bedford, PA, and a grandson Jack Parks. He is also survived by a brother Gary (Sharon) Davies of Homeworth, a sister Deb (Tom) Edling of Salem, a half brother Jason (Janet) Bartholow of Westville and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Damascus Friends Church. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www.grfuneralhome.com.
