Marlene S. Tuel, 76 of Beloit passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at her home.  Marlene was born in Salem on March 30, 1939 the daughter of the late Emmet and Margaret (Casey) Weizenecker; she was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and was a beautician for over 30 years at Copeland Oaks. Marlene played in a women’s volleyball league into her late 60’s and looked forward to club with her high school friends. Most of all she enjoyed attending West Branch sports events to cheer on her family.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years Don whom she married on November 28, 1959; four children; Greg (Julie) Tuel of Beloit, Michael (Rene) Tuel of Beloit, Scott (Elaine) Tuel of Salem, Lisa (Les) Cole of Solon, Oh.; a niece Melody (Jim) Scarpetti; dear friends Dean and Darla Grindley; ten grandchildren; Tiffany, Tarin, Taylor, Trent, Camie, Coley, Chipper, Danielle, Samantha, and Riley and four great grandchildren.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Bill Rohaley and 2 sisters Betty Bissler and Bunny Sponseller.

A mass of Christian burial will take place at 12:00 PM on Saturday October 10, 2015 at St. Ann Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Dyer officiating.  Friends may call from 10-11:30 AM at the funeral home.  Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions can be made in Marlene’s honor to St. Ann Catholic Church, 323 S. 15th Street Sebring, Ohio 44672.
