Martha Ingold, 88, of Salem, passed away February 11, 2008 at Alterra Sterling House of Salem. She was born in Canton, Ohio on July 5, 1919, the daughter of Morton & Nettie (King) Miller. Martha was a member of the Westville Community Bible Church. She was a graduate of Canton McKinley HS, Class of â37 and earned her teaching certificate from Kent State University. She was a 2nd & 3rd grade teacher in the West Branch school district; retiring in 1979. She was a member of the West Branch PTA; Damascus Historical Society and the Alliance Symphony. Survivors include 2 daughters Cheryl (Rick) Garrison of Ventura. CA; Deborah (David) Grigsby of Tynemouth, England; 3 granddaughters Jennifer Garrison Ross of N. Hollywood, CA; Katherine Grigsby and Susanna Grigsby both of Tynemouth Eng. and great grandson Carter Ross of N. Hollywood, CA. Mrs. Ingold was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William in 1987 and 3 brothers Bruce, Richard and Robert Miller. Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday February 16th with Rev. Joanne Dota officiating. Burial will be in North Georgetown cemetery.
