Marvin Wirt Norman, 65, of Crawfordville, Florida and formerly of Ellsworth died Monday, February 2, 2009 at his daughter’s home in Sebring. He was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on February 5, 1943 the son of the late Verlin Gray and Clara M. (Jones) Norman. Mr. Norman had worked for the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company, American Steel Foundries and was an Independent Truck Driver, he was a member of the Sebring First Church of the Nazarene and was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Marvin is survived by his wife Gloria Jane (Dodd) Norman of Florida, a son John W. Norman of Berlin Center, a daughter Serita D. (Patrick M.) Diana of Sebring, and four grandchildren; Ashley Rosenberger, Christian Roberts, Hailey Diana and Noah Diana. He is also survived by a brother Thomas R. (Naomi (Riley)) Norman of Randolph, and a sister Mary A. (Dr. Byron W.) Osborn of Port Richey, Florida A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 5th at 7:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Dr. Byron Osborn officiating.
