Mary Belle Fetters, 99, of Alliance passed away on Sunday morning, March 13, 2011 at Canterbury Villa in Alliance. Mary Belle was born in Sebring on September 14, 1911 the daughter of the late Robert M. and Ila (Duncan) Jewell; she was a 1929 graduate of Sebring McKinley High School and worked at Salem Community Hospital as a nurses aid from 1964 to 1968 and a LPN from 1968 to 1972. She was a member of Pine Lake Christian Church and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her two sons; Richard Fetters of Alliance, and Robert (Vera) Fetters of Sebring. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Jill Castina, Jody Saunier, Margie Hunt, Ray Fetters, Connie Rogers, Rhonda Gardner, Randy Fetters, 14 great grandchildren; Tony Castina, Angie Britton, Andrew Castina, Jamie Russ, Randy Norviel, Mike Fetters, Tonia Soules, Michell Owens, John Owens, Megan Gardner, Nathan Fetters, Drew Fetters, Mikayla Fetters, Sidney Fetters and 10 great great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband R. Lee Fetters whom she was married for over 40 years and died in 1970, her son Ronald and siblings; Harold, Donald, Dorothy (Jewel) Howllet, Helen, Edward and Robert. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 11AM at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home in Sebring with Pastor Tom Palmer officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday the hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Arrangements are pending at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home in Sebring.
