Mary F. Klink, 90 of Sebring passed away on July 21, 2016 at Salem Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Nov. 16, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Nina Ethyl Folkner. A graduate of Shorter College, she earned her master’s degree at the Indiana University School of Music and shortly after that married her husband of 64 years, James Klink on August 18, 1949. Mary was a choir director and music educator at schools in four different states, serving longest with Field Local Schools, Mogadore, Ohio. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. James Klink, in 2013. She is survived by her sister Charlotte Lasater (Franklin, Tennessee), daughter Mary Jane (Richard) Scott of Granville, Ohio, son Frank (Cheryl) Klink of Oak Park Heights, Minnesota, six grandsons and one great grandson.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016 at Copeland Oaks, Bennett Chapel. The family will receive friends in the Williamsburg Room following the service. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s honor to The Oaks Foundation or The Sebring United Methodist Church.
