Mary K.O. (Mitz). Sanders, 90 of Salem passed away on Friday December 27, 2013 at Salem Community Hospital. Mary was born in Brookfield PA. On April 1, 1923 the daughter of the late Ralph and Emma (Ditty) Ohl. Mary was a lifetime homemaker and enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting but most of all spending time with her Family and Friends. Mary was married to the late Robert L. Sanders in April 20,1944. She was a 1941 Salem High School graduate and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Salem, OH.
Survivors include her two daughters Karen Turnbull of Salem and Janet (Don) Kelm of Leetonia, Four grandsons Robert (Jami) Turnbull, Stephen (Joanna) Turnbull ,Jonathon(Ashley) Kelm and Joshua Kelm. Also five great- grand children- Tyler, Chloe , Isaac, Alec and Ethan. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, and son- in- law Donald Almon and William Turnbull and a great- granddaughter Magen Elizabeth Turnbull.
A graveside service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Grandview Cemetery in Salem, Ohio.
