Mary Shaffer

Mary K. Shaffer Mary K. Shaffer, 82, of Columbiana and formerly Salem, died Tuesday Nov. 7, 2006 at Holander House in Salem. She was born to the late Arthur and Anna (Lieder) Schimp on July 30, 1924 in DuBois, PA. She was employed as a waitress at the former Lape Hotel in Salem and Stratton’s Restaurant and attended Zion Hill Church of the Brethren in Columbiana. Mary was known to always lend a helping hand when needed. She is survived by her husband Russell C. Shaffer of Columbiana, two sons; Gary of Columbiana and James of Unity, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Private Family Services will be held.
