McKinley Jarvis, 83 of Beloit, passed away at his home with his family at his side, on Thursday, March 7, 2013. McKinley was born in Lost Run West Virginia, on August 30, 1929 the son of the late Ursher and Frenchie (Sims) Jarvis. He was employed for 28 years as a carpenter at Schopp Organ Company; he was a US Army Korean War veteran. He was a member of the Faith Family Church in North Canton. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Karen (Stockli) Jarvis of Beloit whom he married on November 28, 1959, a son Aaron William (Pam Reymond) Jarvis, three grandchildren; Gabriel L. Jarvis, Shaynna R. Jarvis and Elizabeth L. Jarvis four sisters; Bertha Double, Emily Miller, Evelyn Williams and Mary Ellen Garrison. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Nathan Eric Jarvis in 2001, and four brothers; Clell Jarvis, William Waitman Jarvis, David Jarvis, and Dimp Jarvis. There will be a Family Graveside service held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH. Memorial contributions may be made in McKinleyâs honor to the Alliance VNA/Hospice 885 S.
