Melvin Utt

Melvin Ray Utt, 87 of Sebring, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Aultman Hospital. Melvin was born in West Virginia on June 29, 1923 the son of the late Anthony and Mary (Horner) Utt; he was a US Navy Veteran, worked as a Sanitation Engineer and loved Bluegrass Music. Survivors include his son James (Yongcha) Utt of North Benton, two daughters Kathy (Larry) Harrison of Sebring, Judith (Stan) Hilling of Youngstown, a son Kurtis (Carol) Utt of North Benton, a son Steven (Cheryl) Utt of Sebring 9 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 brothers Elmer, Charlie, and Bill Utt, 2 sisters Dolly and Pearl and a daughter in law Robin. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary L. Utt on Nov. 25, 2009, a son Dan and two brothers. Services will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park.
