Michael Scott Freer 37, of Sebring passed away at Akron Children's Hospital on Wednesday April 1, 2015, after a long courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis. Michael was born in Youngstown, Ohio on December 16, 1977 the son of Paul and Patricia Ann (Peterson) Freer. A graduate of West Branch High School, he attended First Nazarene Church of Sebring. Michael enjoyed golf, was an avid fan of anything Michigan, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his parents Paul and Patricia, his sister Alicia Freer and niece Madison Nutter all of Sebring.
A funeral Service will take place at 1:00 pm on Monday April 6, 2015 at the First Nazarene Church of Sebring with Pastor Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Monday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Akron's Children's Cystic Fibrosis Center or Unit 6200, 1 Perkins Square Akron, Ohio 44302.
