Michael J. Norman, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2024 at the age of 52. He was born on April 28, 1971 to Theodore and Sharon (Eller) Norman. His life was a testament to his dedication to his family, his country, and his passions.
Michael's journey through life was marked by a profound sense of duty and service. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, where he dedicated 21 years of service. He retired with the rank of First Sergeant, a role in which he exemplified leadership and honor.
Survived by his "lovely" wife Kim (Niswonger) Norman, and their two children, whom he adored: Katherine (Christian) Marcelli of Kansas and Michael Jacob Norman of the home in Louisville. He was loved and cherished by his family and friends that included his sister, Tammie (Lance) Laubacher of Minerva, his brother, James (Tina) Norman of South Carolina, Brother in-law Bill (Kimmy "Cupcake") Niswonger of Minerva, Sister in-law Jennifer (Burt) Gotschall of North Carolina and Julie (Rick) Dean of Beloit, his grandpuppers Bella and Woody and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
As we bid farewell to Michael and knowing that his journey was one of purpose and impact. We take comfort in the knowledge that he's looking down on us from God's army. As Micheal would say "See you on the other side."
