Michelle L Brunie

July 25, 1960 — February 12, 2024

Michelle L. Brunie, passed away peacefully after an extended illness February 12, 2024, at Aultman Alliance Hospital. Born on a Monday afternoon on July 25, 1960 in Alliance, Ohio to Tom Wade and Martha Wade. Michelle was a proud 1978 graduate of West Branch High School.

Michelle's journey through life was marked by her loving nature and a fearless attitude that earned her the affectionate title of a spitfire. She was never one to shy away from speaking her mind, and her sense of humor was a source of joy for all who knew her. Michelle's legacy of love is carried on by her mother Martha Wade; sister Dolly Wade; children Courtney (Jamey) Snyder, Carly Brunie and Casey Brunie, and her cherished grandchildren Aidan, Emma and Olivia. Her husband Lance Brunie and many cousins will remember her fondly. Michelle was preceded in death by her father Tom Wade and dear uncles Bill and Bob, whose memories she held close to her heart.

Throughout her years, Michelle built a career that reflected her warm and sociable nature. She was previously employed at Copeland Oaks, where her enthusiasm and dedication made a lasting impact. Later, she continued to work at Don Pancho's, where she made countless friends among colleagues and patrons alike.

Michelle's interests painted a picture of a woman who embraced life's simple pleasures and the beauty of the world around her. She was drawn to the serenity of the beach and vacationed in Ocean City, Maryland with her family every year. Vacationing by the shore was not just a pastime but a renewal of her spirit.

To know Michelle was to know someone who embodied love in action. She was courageous in the face of life's challenges, never hesitating to stand up for what she believed in. Her passion for life and for her family was the cornerstone of her existence, a source of inspiration and strength for all who were blessed to be part of her life.

Per Michelle's wishes private family services have been held and interment was at Grandview Cemetery in Sebring. Michelle's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Auburn Skilled Nursing and especially to nurse Ian who made an impact on Michelle and her family. The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made in Michelle's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
