Myrtle Ellen Weidow, 72, of Alliance, formerly of Sebring, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Canterbury Villa of Alliance. Myrtle was born in Kingwood, West Virginia on August 6, 1940, the daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Cox) Scott. She was a member of the Baptist Church and enjoyed keeping busy with various crafts. Survivors include her four sisters, Bonnie Helmick of Sebring, Wilma Hupp of Canton, Dian Phillips of Grafton, WV, Velma Johnson of Tunnelton, WV and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Victor, Dale, Herbert, Robert and a sister Carolyn. A funeral service will be held at 3:30PM on June 13, 2013 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Lanham officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday June 12, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at North Benton Cemetery.
