Nan Sanders

Nan E. “Betty” Sanders Nan E. “Betty” Sanders, 92, of 1448 Buckeye Circle, passed away Thursday afternoon, at the Mahoning Valley Hospital. She was born June 13, 1913 in Lima, OH, the daughter of the late George and Clara (Spencer) Tolford. Mrs. Sanders was a Member of the Eastern Star Chapter in Alliance where she was active until moving to Salem she was also a volunteer in the gift shop at the Salem Community Hospital for many years. Her loving husband, Jack Sanders, preceded her in death in 1995. Survivors include; Babara Karol of Gahanna, OH, Jack (Sally)Sanders of Frisco, TX; four grandchildren, Mark Karol of Salem, OH, Kelly Dehnert of Kansas City, KS, Jay Sanders of Chicago, IL, Kay Beth Sanders of Dallas, TX and five great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three sisters; Kathryn, Marge and Dorothy and two brothers, George Kay and Phil. A Service will be held at Grandview Cemetery Chapel on Monday, Feb. 13th at 1:00pm with Pastor Tom Allmon officiating.
