Nello Arsuffi

Nello A. Arsuffi, age 77, of Salem passed away Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007 at 11:40 PM at his residence. He was born March 9, 1929, in Alliance, to the late Giovanni & Angeline (Giovanzzi) Arsuffi. Mr. Arsuffi was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church; he graduated from Salineville High School class of ’47, and retired from the former Deming-Crane Co of Salem. Nello is survived by his wife Celia (Wright) Arsuffi whom he married July 1, 1950;a son Thomas Arsuffi of Junction, Texas; daughters Cheryl Blough of Salem and Susan Meissner of Damascus; sister Martha Taggert of Guilford Lake and Brother John (Catherine) Arsuffi of Salem. He also leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Hollie (Mark) Kyser; Gary (Tracy) Blough; and Jennifer Meissner; 6 great grandchildres, Cullen, Chloe, Andrew, Daniel, Collin and Kyle. Mr. Arsuffi was preceded in death by his parents, and Brother Raymond Arsuffi. Funeral Services will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church at 11:00 AM Monday, Jan. 15, 2007, with Rev. Thomas Dyer officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00 am to 10:30 am on Monday prior to the service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
