Nelma Kniseley

Nelma Althea Kniseley, 80 of Alliance passed away Thursday, Aug. 16th at Alliance Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 19, 1927, the daughter of the late John and Melvina (Hardman) Young. Nelma is survived by her husband William M. Kniseley whom she married March 4, 1945, a son W. Dan (Carol) Kniseley of Lisbon a daughter Mary (Doug) Jordan of Sebring, eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by her twin sister Nellie Reichard of Canton and a brother Melvin Young of Alliance. Nelma was preceded in death by her parents a daughter Rae Lynn Whitten, a granddaughter Jessica Kniseley, two sisters and three brothers. Private family services will be held Monday in the Chapel at Highland Memorial Park with Pastor J. Michael Bragg officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the American cancer Society in Nelma’s honor. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
