Norma Davidson Pierson

Norma I. Davidson Pierson Norma I. Davidson Pierson 89, of Salem, passed away Thursday morning March 9, 2006, at Akron City Hospital. She was born July 8, 1916 in Norwalk, OH, the daughter of the late Clayton and Ione (Curry) Lehnert. Norma was a graduate of Bowling Green University and Youngstown State University and taught 2nd grade at Joshua Dixson in Columbiana and Canfield Hilltop Elementary and was also the Owner/Operator of Quaker Hill Orchard in Salem. Mrs. Pierson was a past member of The Salem Golf Club, Ohio Teachers Retirement Assoc., a former Mary Kay Independent Sales representative and enjoyed playing bridge. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband William Boardman Davidson and a sister Mable Roetruck. Survivors include; her husband Robert Pierson of Salem, a son William B. (Catherine) “Sue” Davidson Jr.of Salem, Donald D. (Kathy) Davidson of Richmond Va., a daughter Judith Davidson Waters (Rob) Marshall of Salem and grandson Douglas Lloyd (Lorie) Davidson and their children Eric B., Natalie M., Mallorie, Macie, Ellie, Annie, Mitchell, Abbey and Ross Davidson, grandson Brian Lee (Marcella) Davidson and their son Codey, granddaughter Catherine Anne (Victor) Davidson Chuck and their children Cassie Davidson, Allee, Bill, Alanee and Alivia Davidson Chuck, a granddaughter Joan (Rob) Davidson Clark and their children Corey, and Kacie Wellendorf, a grandson Donald Davidson Jr. and grandson Scott Davidson, a granddaughter Christine L. Waters and her children Dennis, Wendy and Matthew Twaddle, a granddaughter Kimberly A. Waters and her daughter Zora B. Waters, a grandson Jeffrey (Kelly) Waters and their children Katie S. Malloy, Austen L. Hutton and Courtney M. Waters and a sister Evelyn Olcott of FL. Private Family Services will be held. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Valley, Youngstown, OH or The Canfield Educational Endowment Fund.
