Paul Braisted

Paul W. Braisted, 82 of Roanoke, VA passed away on Monday, April 18, 2011 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, Ohio. Paul was born in Smithville, NY on October 28, 1928 the son of the late Walter and Stella (Walker) Braisted. Rev. Braisted was a retired Wesleyan Minister and his last calling was at the Salem Wesleyan Church in Salem, Virginia. Survivors include his son Timothy (Kay) Braisted of Mckees Rock, PA, a son Philip (Alice) Braisted of Alliance, Ohio, a daughter in law Debbie Braisted of Roanoke, VA, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Walter (Laura) Braisted of Horseheads, NY, a sister in law Catherine Braisted of Binghamton, NY, a sister Grace Bodine of Merrimash, NH and a sister Pat Holmes of Amherstburg, Ontario Canada. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Eleanor (DuBois) a 2nd wife Annie “Dollie” (Curto), a son Joseph and 2 brothers Richard and David. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the Emanuel Wesleyan Church in Roanoke, VA at 11:00AM. Friends may call at the Lotz Funeral Home in Salem Virginia from 4-6PM on Friday, April 22, 2011. Burial will take place in Sherwood Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made in Paul’s memory to the Emanuel Wesleyan Church in Roanoke, VA.
