"Together Again" Paul Wilbur McGrew, 88, of Beloit passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Salem Community Hospital. Paul was born in Sebring, on March 30, 1924 the son of the late Paul H. McGrew, Step-Father Eldon Harrison and Mary Annetta (Sanford). He was a US Navy Veteran and a Maintenance Welder for American Steel. Mr. McGrew attended Greenford Lutheran Church; he was a member of Christopher Columbus, the VFW, and enjoyed Bowling, Horseshoes, fishing, horseback riding but he especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Paul is survived by his children; Joyce A. McElroy of Beloit, Susan A. McGrew of Beloit, Christine M. (Trent) Shirey of Canfield, Nancy K. (Bruce) Wyss of North Benton, Ted E. (Joann) McGrew of Alliance, Henry W. (Joyce) Sanford of California, Gary E. (Effie) Sanford of Alliance, William J. (Carol) Sanford of Beloit; a sister Sandra Lee (Ronald) Wonner of Alliance, 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Paulmira âMenaâ McGrew in April of 2012 and a nephew David. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the Highland Memorial Park Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Glenn Davidson officiating and Military Honors provided by the Salem Honor Guard.
