Every road that he traveled friends were made, stories collected & people brought together, he was that one-degree of separation. A soulful man, beautiful uninhibited spirit, with a zest for life and thirsts for experiencing new things. Pete was a great father, true friend, sweet brother and uncle. Peter Pete Pshsniak, Jr. entered eternal life on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 1:31pm. His spirit and curiosity for life is carried on by his 2 daughters, a sonin-law, 1 grandchild, 6 siblings, and 11 nieces/nephews. Peter also leaves behind a cherished extended family of loved ones and friends from every walk of life, and his right hand, little buddy Jack the black dog. Throughout his 55 years, Pete offered nuggets of wisdom to everyone he met, even if you didnt ask. Pete was born in Warren, Ohio, the son of the late Peter and Olga (Vasko) Pshsniak. May 21, 1958. He is a 1976 graduate of Salem Senior High School, played Quaker football (#21). Peters career path, in conjunction with his charismatic personality spanned from a technician to a tradesman.
Survivors include; his two daughters; Klairessa (Devon) Ketchum of Salineville, Lauren Pshsniak of Akron, a grandson Cohen Ketchum. He is also survived by his siblings; Gregory (Delores) Pshsnychniak of San Diego, CA, Patricia (Domenico) Sciaretta of North Lima, Linda Pshsniak of Atlanta, GA,Loretta Pshsniak of Salem, Tania (Jeff) Grubbs of Pittsburgh, PA, Jennifer Hohman of Miami, FL, several nieces and nephews and his favorite dog Jack.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home in Salem at 5:00 PM. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, Feb. 7th from 6-8 PM and also two hours prior to the service on Saturday.
