Phyllis I. Park age 81, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2006,at her residence. She was born August 7, 1925, in Alliance to William Vern and Lola Pauline (Boyer) Oliver. She was a member of the Sebring United Methodist church. Phyllis was a teacher in the Waterloo school district, where she taught at Atwater Primary for 26 years. She was a 1943 graduate of Sebring High School; a graduate of the College of Wooster in 1947 with a degree in Psychology and received her Teaching certificate from Mt. Union College. She was a member of the former OES Sebring chapter, which is now #296 of Alliance. She is survived by her Husband Kenyon W. Park of 56 years whom she married May 22, 1950.Two daughters Becky (Tod) Brunie of Sebring, Nancy (William) Cooper of Greenville, Ohio, a sister Wilma Barr of Minneapolis, Mn. 3 grand daughters Beth Brutcher of Fountain, Co, Kimberly and Amy Brunie of Sebring, 2 grandsons Edward Cooper of Seattle, Wa., Timothy Cooper of Greenville, Ohio. She was preceded by her parents, a sister Mary Louise Oliver and a Great Aunt Elva Boyer. Funeral Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006 with Rev. Joy Blaney officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.
