Rachel Rose Sharp, 20, of Sebring, Ohio passed away at home on Sunday night due to complications from and extended illness. Born to Clyde and Edna Sharp in Toledo, Ohio on Nov. 25 1986, Rachel Rose is survived by her parents, a sister Audrey, grandparents Leonard and Jovita Barrera, grandmother Thelma Sharp, and fiancé Rich Twaddle, as well as numerous uncles, aunts cousins and extended family. Much like a Rose, Rachel shown brightly to all who knew her, struggling in early life to bloom into a beautiful flower, making everyone take notice. Rachel Rose’s personality also mimicked a rose’s perfume spreading joy and love to all who took it in. Rachel Rose was full of life, loved by all who knew her, as a great friend and companion. She was a graduate of Sebring McKinley High School, class of 2005 and attended the University of Toledo, but was unable to finish her degree due to her health. She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Sebring. Due to her condition Rachel Rose encouraged all who could to become an organ donor, living or otherwise. Arrangements are being handled by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral home, Sebring, Ohio .A viewing will be held in Sebring today from 2-9 p.m. and in Toledo Wednesday at 5:00P M to 8:00 PM. with funeral to follow Thursday at 11:00 AM, with interment at Toledo Cemetery. Toledo arrangements will be handled by Reeb Funeral home,5712 N. Main St. , Sylvania, Ohio In lieu of Flowers the family requests donation to be made to the American Cancer Society, National Kidney Foundation in Rachel Rose’s memory. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Friends may sign the guest register on line at www.grfuneralhome.com
