Raymond âBuckâ L. Mosley 72, of Salem passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11th at Blossom Nursing Home in Salem. He was born Dec. 12, 1934 in Palisade, Nebraska to the late Ross S. and Joyce Dee (Johnson) Mosley. Mr. Mosley moved to Colorado in 1949, he was a graduate of Castle Rock High School in Colorado in 1952. He owned and operated Whisenhunt Inc. for 33 years, in 1986 he sold his business and went to work for the Douglas County Highway System until his retirement in 2000 as Superintendent of District 4, a life member of the BPOE #1650 in Littleton Colorado and a charter member of the Castle Rock Eagles Aerie 3947. Buck and his wife Pat moved to Salem in December of 2001, where they became members of the Salem First United Methodist Church and was active in the Food Pantry and was a member of the Menâs Club. Buck is survived by; his wife Patricia âPatâ Dale (Fuller) Mosley whom he married Aug. 3, 1983, a son Darrol (Jorja) Mosley of Utah, two daughters; Julie (Mike) Adkins of Charlotte, NC, and Dianne (Dean) Parker of Chesapeake, VA, three granddaughters; Caryl (Joseph) Trimble, Erica Allis and Alexis Adkins, two grandsons; Dean (Amanda) Parker Jr. and Aaron Parker, and 3 great grandchildren. Buck is also survived by four sisters; Shirley Evans of Hayes Center, NB, Joanne Bailey of Green Forest, AR, Priscilla Phillips of Albuquerque, NM and MaryLou Grainer of Colorado, 13 nieces and nephews and 29 great nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Salem on Saturday, Dec. 15th at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jim Davis, Rev. Mac Kelly and Rev. Bruce Irwin officiating. Friends may call in the Church Parlor One Half hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made in Buckâs honor to the Food Pantry at the First United Methodist Church, PO Box 463, Salem, OH or the Humane Society 2180 St. Rt. 45, Salem, OH.
