Rev. James “Jim” H. Klink, 88 of Sebring passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Alliance Community Hospital. Rev. Klink was born in Springfield, Ohio on March 07, 1925 the son of the late Orrin and Grace (Davis) Klink. He was a graduate of Indiana University, attended Seminary at North Western, Post Graduate work at Vanderbilt and his Divinity Degree from Emory University. He worked at several ministerial posts; the Wesley Foundation at The Ohio State University, Vanderbilt University for the Tennessee Youth Commission, then he joined the North East Ohio Conference, as pastor of Andover, Sebring Methodist Churches. Rev. Klink also served as Intergroup Ministry for 10 years, after his retirement he helped to form an employment agency in North Canton, and also served as an interim pastor for a church in North Canton and Hartville area. Survivors include his wife of 64 years Mary (Folkner) of Sebring whom he married on August 18, 1949, a son Frank (Cheryl) Klink of Oak Park Heights, MN, a daughter Mary (Richard) Scott of Grandville, OH and 6 grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Audrey Jane. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday September 28, 2013 at Copeland Oaks, Bennett Chapel. The family will receive friends in the Williamsburg Room following the service. Memorial contributions may be made in Rev. Klink’s honor to The Oaks Foundation or The United Methodist Church.
