Richard D. Bandy, 69, of North Benton, passed away on February 9, 2010 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Bandy was born in Alliance on March 31, 1940 the son of the late Robert and Mary (Brindack) Bandy. Richard was a graduate of Sebring High School in the class of 1958; and he was a United States Marine Corps veteran. Mr. Bandy retired from Transue and Williams after 39 years of service; and was the owner of Bandy Campgrounds in North Benton. Richardâs hobbies were gardening and getting stuck. Survivors include his wife Patricia (Haupt) Bandy of North Benton whom he married on March 11, 1959, three daughters Marcy (Jack) Macarie and their children Matt and Maria Macarie of North Benton, Teri Bandy of Cardington, OH, Laura (Keith) Woody of East Canton, and a son Mike (Chris) Bandy of Homeworth. He is also survived by a sister Nola Pettit of Orlando, FL, two brothers Donald (Linda) Bandy of Homeworth and Dale (Marinolva) Bandy of Lima, Peru, three grandsons and two great grandsons. He also leaves behind his two special dogs Pebby and Annie. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Mark Bandy, a grandson James Woody, a sister Rochelle Jones.
