Richard Eagan

Richard L. Eagan, 76 of Beloit passed away at his home on Sunday, March 2, 2014. Richard was born in Sebring on December 6, 1937 the son of the late Edward J. and Flossie (McDaniel) Eagan. Mr. Eagan enjoyed woodworking, riding his motor cycle, horseback riding, meeting Ruth and Bob at McDonald’s in the morning but especially spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years Jackie (Kerns) Eagan whom he married on April 11, 1958, 2 daughters; Bonnie (Bob) Wise of Homeworth, Brenda Eagan of Alliance, 4 grandchildren; Dave Smith, Jordan Smith, Jessica Smith, Jamie Wise, and 5 great grandchildren; K-Lee Wise, Zander Smith, Evelyn Smith, Garrison Garlock and Noah Alex. He is also survived by a brother Jack Eagan of Alliance, and 2 sisters Betty Martin of Alliance and Judy Irvin of Brookfield. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son Robert “Bobby” Eagan, grandson Robert Wise Jr., 3 brothers; Dale, Don and Robert and a sister Mildred Martin.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home. Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the funeral home.
