Richard A. Farmer, 54, of Ingram, PA and formerly of Salem died Tuesday, Oct. 16th at Allegheny General Hospital. Richard was born February 1, 1953 in to Leeland R. and Edith D.J. McElroy. A US Army Peacetime Veteran Richard served as a Sergeant in Korea and worked as a Signalman for Norfolk Southern Railroad. Survivors include; his two sons; Christopher Farmer and Brandon Farmer USMC, his Mother Edith Donna Hanna all of Salem, a sister Kathy Samuelson of Reynoldsburg, OH a brother Don Farmer of Cheyenne, WY, two granddaughters; Destiny Lynn Mary Farmer and Kailee Elizabeth Farmer. He is also survived by his former wife Rita Farmer. Services will be held at Brown Funeral Home on Sunday, October 21st at 3:00PM with Father Thomas McCarthy officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:30 until the time of service. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
