Richard Marlin Lemasters, 80, of Sebring passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 surrounded by his family. Richard was born on May 14, 1938 to the late Elmer and Nellie (Hill) Lemasters in Woodruff, West Virginia. Richard worked for Holiday Designs. He enjoyed sitting on his swing feeding the squirrels, playing bingo, hunting, fishing but above all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Richard is survived by his children Laura Conner of Sebring, Marlene Orsburn of Sebring, Carolyn (David) Hoy of Deerfield and Richard (Deanna) Lemasters of Minerva; sisters Betty Biggs of Alliance and Lina Gandee of Alliance; sister-in-law Rebecca Gandee; grandchildren Christine (Jason) Irey, Alicia (Kevin) Neininger, Peggy (Jim) Sheen, Jennifer (Johnathon) Cline, Robbie Conner, Rebecca (Josh) Brooks, Kayland Conner, Kristen Hoy and Collin Hoy; and 15 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents Richard was preceded in death by his wife Katherine Lemasters who passed away on October 7, 2013; brothers Kenneth, Charles and Leonard; sister Virginia and son-in-law Andy Orsburn.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mike Kmball officiating. Friends will be received the hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Quaker Hill Cemetery in Sebring.
