Richard Mccracken

Richard E. McCracken of Sebring, Ohio, died at 5:05 am; Wednesday, June 20, 2007 in Salem Community Hospital. He was born in Southington, Ohio on February 9, 1925 to the late Charles S. and Elma (Cadwallader) McCracken. He was employed as a truck driver for Kuntzman Alliance Trucking, retiring in 1989, a member of the Teamsters Union and the Sebring American Legion post # 76. Richard is survived by two daughters Jo Ann (Joe) Coates of Aliquippa, PA; Wanda Jean (Mike) Lee of Bolivar, Ohio; three sons Ronald (Rose) McCracken of Alliance; James (Tanya) McCracken of Beloit; Gerald (Sonya) McCracken of Alliance ; his long time companion Dolly Hardin of Sebring; 13 grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. Richard was preceded by his wife Erma (Reese) McCracken on 10-23-1997; his son Charles on 12-18-2004; three brothers Hugh, Robert and Harold McCracken; and three sisters Edna Taylor, Virginia Hoffman, and Dorla Cameron. Services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, June 22 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev. Rod Doran officiating, Friends may call Thursday June21, from 2pm to 9pm, with the family present from 7-9.
