Richard Orville Moore of Spokane, Washington passed away Friday, Sept. 7, 2007. Mr. Moore was born in Sebring on January 28, 1936 to Arthur Asbury Moore and Euphamia Wilson Moore. He graduated from Sebring High School in 1954. He entered the Air Force in 1955 retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant after 30 years. He served in Vietnam for a year. He graduated from Eastern Washington Univ. Following that he worked in the Spokane County Jail system until he retired a second time. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Lawrence Moore whom he married Dec. 3, 1955, daughters, Wendy (Ben) Pulsifer of Hawaii, Kristy (Glenn) Schumacher of Georgia, son, Daniel Richard Moore of Spokane, a sister, Vaunda (Ray) Gorby and sister,in-law Judy Moore,8 grand children, 1 great grandchild and ten nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Arthur, Wendell and Jack and one sister Velma Brooks Green. Funeral Services will be held on Friday Sept. 14, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev. Joy Blaney officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 2 - 8 Pm with the family present 6-8 PM. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery, Sebring. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home in Sebring, Ohio.
