Robert Clementson

Robert M. Clementson, 86 of Salem and formerly of Virginia passed away Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Sterling House in Salem. He was born on September 12, 1922 in Arlington, Virginia the son of the late Francis and Marie (Stocker) Clementson. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Engineering and was a Lieutenant in the United States Navy. He retired in 1980 serving as President of the HE Johnson Corporation. He is survived by his wife Mary Louise (Porter) Clementson of Salem whom he married March 10, 1945, a son David Clementson of Salem, two daughters; Helen (Wade) Henry of Clearwater, FL and Patricia (William) Staiger of Akron. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Virginia Stewart. Friends and Family will gather on Wednesday, September 24 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at Sterling House of Salem 1916 S. Lincoln Avenue, to Celebrate his Life.
