Robert Powell

Robert Dale Powell 74, of East Rochester died Thursday morning at his home with his family at his side. He was born March 8, 1933 in Ridgely, TN to the late Robert B. and Mildred (Cook) Powell. Robert was a US Army veteran and was employed by the Hunt Valve Company and owned and operated RD Powell Locksmith Service. He was a member of the Community Bible Church in Beloit as well as the Hanoverton Masonic Lodge, the American Legion the POLA Locksmith Association and the ALOA (Associated Locksmiths of America). He is survived by his wife Joyce (Hazen), a son Gary (Laurie) Powell of Lake Placentia, a daughter Marilyn Skiba of Salem, seven grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 7th at 11:00 AM at the Community Bible Church with Pastor Rod Doran officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be sent in Robert’s memory to Hospice of the Valley or the American Cancer Society.
