Robert Ward

Robert J. Ward, Age 69, of Alliance, Ohio, died at 1:00 p.m, Sunday, Aug. 19, 2007 at Altercare of Alliance. He was born on July 17, 1938 to the late John W. Jr. and Opal D. (Owsalt) Ward. Robert was employed at the Royal China pottery. Mr. Ward is survived by his daughter Janet Courtney of Alliance, Son Dale (Angie) Ward of Alliance; son David (Rita)Ward of Beloit and daughter Valerie Ward of Sebring. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren Erica Ward and Ashley Courtney of Alliance; Zachary;Taylor and Johnathan Ward of Beloit; also his former wife Janice Ward of Beloit and Brother Jack Ward of Alliance. He is preceded by his parents John W. Ward Jr in 1974 and Opal D. Owsalt Ward in 1950, and son Brian Ward on Nov.19,1978. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, Aug. 22 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor James White officiating. Friends may call Tuesday Aug 21 from 2 to 8 p.m. with the family present from 6-8 P.M. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery in Sebring. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
