Robert âBobâ E. Woolf Sr., age 84, of Sebring passed away at home at 11:05 am, Tuesday, July 31, 2007. He was born in Sebring, Ohio, the son of the late Floyd C. and Bernice L. (Reed) Woolf. Bob was an Army Veteran of WW II, where he served in the European Theater under General Patton. He was a former member of the Salineville VFW color guard, a member of the Sebring VFW Post # 6730 and the American Legion Post # 76. Bob belonged to the Early Risers (Camping Group). Bob loved his family and loved to hunt and fish. He loved antique cars, especially his Volkswagen and was a longtime member of the Old Auto Enthusiast Club. He was a self âemployed plumber for 28 years working for Leonard Hardware, and a pipe fitter for 8 years at T&W. He is survived by his loving wife Anna Marie (Wilson) Woolf whom he married on March 9, 1946 and spent 61 wonderful years together. He is also survived by his daughter Trudy Woolf of Sebring, a brother Floyd Woolf Jr. of Wooster, Grandson Shane (Lorraine) Woolf of Columbus, Granddaughters Sherri Christian of Youngstown and Tina (Kevin) Rowe of Alliance, great grandson Chad Christian, Great Granddaughters Tiara (Fiancée Michael Weibel) Rowe and Chasidi Christian and great great granddaughter Ashlyn. In addition to his parents he was preceded by his, son Robert E. Woolf Jr. on Oct. 22, 2001, brothers James A Woolf, Darwin L. Woolf, and sisters; Jean Igro and Helen Lister. Bob was laid to rest on Thursday August 2, 2007 at a private family graveside service at Highland Memorial Park with Rev. Joe Peters officiating. Arrangements by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
