Robert L. Zink, 69 of Sebring, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2010 at his home. Robert was born in Akron, Ohio on June 14, 1941 the son of the late Leroy and Mildred (Wright) Zink; he graduated from Lake High School in 1959. Mr. Zink attended the Lexington United Methodist Church, where he served as a Trustee and retired from Circle Machine. Bob loved the Lord and served in many ways along with his wife through their Music Ministry; he was also a past Lay Director of the Walk to Emmaus. Survivors include his wife of 36 years Linda (Moore) Zink whom he married on March 21, 1974, a son Daniel Zink of St. Petersburg, Fl, a daughter Elizabeth (Rich) Wilson of Perrysville, OH and two step daughters Cheryl (Charles) Parnell of Rochester, NY, Pam Battista of Barberton; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Robert M. Zink. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 11AM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Baltzer officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 6-8 PM and the hour prior to the service on Saturday.
