Robert “Bobby” W. Schreckengost 58, of Beloit passed peacefully with his loving family by his side on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Aultman Hospital in Canton. Bobby was born in Alliance on January 20, 1957, to the late Paul and Betty (Frye) Schreckengost.  Bob graduated in 1975 from Sebring McKinley High School where he was recognized as a star pitcher.  He worked as a Tool & Die Maker while he resided in California then when he returned to Ohio he worked as a painter and landscaper.

Robert is survived by his daughters; Mackenzie and Lindsay, his grandsons; Bentley, Cooper and Bronco all who were the love of his life.  He is also survived by 2 brothers; Paul (Delain) Schreckengost and Viktor Schreckengost both of California, 4 sisters; Janice (Gary) Meek of South Carolina, Kathy (Bill) Taylor of California, Bonnie (Jim) Goddard of California and Debbie Schreckengost of Sebring, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and cousins.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Doug Schreckengost, a nephew Dustin Kleinman and his sister-in-law Renee Schreckengost.

A Celebration of his life will be held Friday, August 28, 2015 at The Log Cabin in Sebring (195 North 15th Street) at 7:00 PM.  The family requests you wear your favorite baseball attire. Memorial contributions can be made in care of the family.
