Roger Myers

Roger L. Myers, 72 of Beloit passed away on October 23, 2013 at Aultman Hospital. Roger was born in Salineville on October 19, 1941 the son of the late Wm. Edward and Elizabeth (Adams) Myers. Roger worked at Stratton Chevrolet, was a member of the Sebring, & Knox Police Departments for over 15 years and was a former owner of the Amoco and Gulf gasoline stations. He enjoyed driving his convertible and his parrot “Henry”.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Helen (Kerns), whom he married on November 27, 1970; a daughter, Teena Schubert of Beloit; a brother Paul Myers of Alabama,; a sister Loraine Barker of Alliance, a grandson Sebastian Schubert and his friends at Stratton Chevrolet. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Denny Hazen officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 PM. Interment will be in Salem Grandview Cemetery. Friends may sign the guest register online at www.grfuneralhome.com.
