Ronald Bailey

Ronald Lee Bailey, 79, of Sebring went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 10, 2014, at his home. Ronald was born in Poland, Ohio on October 13, 1934, the son of the late Dewey Judson and Beatrice Loretta (Corll) Bailey, and was raised in Youngstown. He lived in the Alliance Sebring area for the past 50 years, working as a welder for Alliance Machine for 36 years and was a member of Sylvania Hills Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Carolyn (Salsgiver) Bailey whom he married on November 12, 1952; six sons Michael “Larry” (Cyndy) Bailey of Rochester, Pa, Ronald “R.J.” Bailey of Sebring, Jerry (Vicki) Bailey of Sebring, Thomas (Nancy) Bailey of Louisville, Timothy (Brenda) Bailey of Sebring, Derrick (Shelley) Bailey of Uniontown; three daughters Deborah Shellar formerly of Pahokee Fla. now residing in Sebring, Terry (Doug) Debolt of Sebring, Betty (Ed) Householder of Sebring; twenty-eight grandchildren, and forty great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Nelson, Richard, Howard and three sisters Betty Jean Bailey, Janet McManus and Sally Natyshak.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday January 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev. Michael L. Bailey officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday January 14, 2014 from 5-8 PM and at 10:00 AM Wednesday, 1 hour prior to the service. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ronald’s honor to the family in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
