Ronald E. Reichenbach, age 88, of Salem passed over on August 22, 2014.
He was born May 18, 1926 in Salem, OH, the son of the late Russell J. and Amy (Swenningson) Reichenbach.
He retired from Deming Crane after 44 years of service. He was a member of American Legion Post 574 in North Georgetown and V.F.W. Post 892 in Salem. He served in the Navy in WWII. He was a member of the Holy Trinity English Lutheran Church in Salem, Salem Saxon Branch 19 and the Salem Saxon Retirees.
Survivors include his wife Jo-Ann Vignere Barnes, whom he married December 23, 1960; one step-daughter, Deborah Stewart, Salem, OH; one stepson, Kenneth (Mary) Barnes, Strongsville, OH; one step-grandson, Stephen Barnes, Strongsville, OH; one step-granddaughter, Melissa (Adam) Kress, Wake Forest, NC; two step-great-grandsons, Blake and Karson Kress of Wake Forest, NC; two sisters, Juliet (Chuck) Mooney, Port Orange, FL, and Joan Gardner, Beloit, OH. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Reichenbach, and his step-son-in-law, Jim Stewart.
