Ronald Paul Weeks, 75, of Alliance passed away on Monday, February 4, 2013 at his home. Ron was born on September 21, 1937, the son of the late Charles Parsons and Ruth Maxine (Beans) Weeks, he was a graduate of Atwater High School and an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Stark Technical College. He was a US Navy Veteran and worked for 30 years as a Diesel Mechanic and 10 years as a Computer Technician. Ron was a member of the Marlboro Chapel, he was a very devoted member of Friendship Class. He enjoyed Bible study and had collected a library of study materials over the years and was very knowledgeable about Scripture. Active with grandkids, loved to be outdoors, enjoying gardening and helping his family. Ron also enjoyed reading, photography, working on computers, hiking and sightseeing. He maintained his own home. Survivors include his five children; Shelley (Richard) Weeks Ameser, Timothy Weeks, James Weeks, Dale Weeks and Larry (Roberta) Weeks. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 step-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a sister Marsha (Gary) Jackson and a brother David (Leanna) Weeks. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his former wife Erma Louise (Betz) Weeks. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 1:00 PM at The Chapel in Marlboro with Joel Cochran officiating. Friends may call at the Church on Thursday from 11am to 1PM. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www.grfuneralhome.com.
